INDIVIDUAL CONSULTATIONS

One-to-one consultations allow us to develop a psychology programme that is tailored to you. A typical first session involves an in-depth conversation about your sporting background, experience, strengths, development areas, and aspirations. We will discuss what you want to gain from the sessions, then work together to create a development plan. Successive sessions will involve feedback, practical elements and discussions to support your journey. 


I look to build trusting, on-going working relationships with individuals. Developing and learning mental skills and managing your mindset requires practice and commitment, like sport's physical, technical and tactical elements. You will be encouraged to practice new strategies or complete reflection between sessions to aid your progress. It can also be helpful if I attend training/competition environments to aid the integration of psychological concepts into your routines.

The amount of sessions you require is dependent on the person. As everyone is unique and different I don't look to offer you six sessions for a set price as this could be too little or too much. The approach is tailored for you and the number of sessions you need will be discussed and agreed upon between us.

In-person or online 

Individual consultations can either be completed in person at a place you find comfortable, whether that being in your house or a coffee shop. If this isn't possible, we can also work together online via zoom or teams. Regardless of your location, we can arrange something that works for you.
